The "Friends of Children of Angola" is a non-profit organization created in 1998, whose purpose is to provide well-being of the Children of the
Republic of Angola in accordance with the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights, and the Rights of the Children Convention.
Toward this end, the organization primary objectives are:
1) To help promoting the cause for continuing humanitarian assistance to the Angolan children and mothers, trough contacts with specialized institutions of the United Nations, and other non-governmental organizations.
2) To focus attention on the plight of the Angolan children through active participation in charitable functions and fund raising events in local communities and religious institutions in the United States, and through loyal "Friends of the children of Angola" in Angola, Portugal, Canada, England, Autralia, Germany, Japan, Nederland, Switzerland and New
Zeland who have provided the platform and their support.
